Fudgy Chocolate Covered Strawberries
Chocolate covered strawberries!! A festive Valentine’s Day treat <3
I covered some with chopped almonds, some with chopped hazelnuts, and some with just delicious dark chocolate sauce…yum!
For the dark chocolate sauce…
- 3/4 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 1/2 tsp instant coffee
Instructions: Melt all three ingredients slowly, using a double boiler. Stir often.
Note: This sauce provides a fudgy, rather than crunchy, chocolate coating for the strawberries.
